Gestern hatten wir ein wirklich gelungenes Live-Event. Vielen Dank an alle, die dabei waren. 🙌

Ich habe mich sehr über das Interesse und den Austausch gefreut.

Hier sind die wichtigsten Punkte, aus meiner Sicht:
Starte klein, um Wirkung zu erzielen. 

Automatisierung muss nicht mit komplexen End-to-End-Prozessen beginnen. Kleine, wiederkehrende Aufgaben mit hohem Impact liefern schnelle Ergebnisse und stärken die Akzeptanz im Team.
Early Adopters zuerst einbinden. 

Veränderung gelingt am besten mit denjenigen, die offen für Neues sind. Mit ihnen entstehen die ersten Erfolgsgeschichten, die anschließend die breitere Organisation überzeugen.
Outside-in zusammen mit Inside-out. 

Innovation im Rechtsbereich profitiert oft von Impulsen aus anderen Branchen. Das Beispiel aus der Formel 1 und der Notaufnahme zeigt: Neue Perspektiven können etablierte Abläufe nachhaltig verbessern. Aber die interne Perspektive ist auch sehr wichtig. 
Struktur bringt Klarheit in Ideen. 

Tools wie das Legal Use Case Canvas helfen dabei, Gedanken zu ordnen, Anforderungen sichtbar zu machen und konkrete Use Cases zu definieren.
Momentum zählt mehr als Perfektion. 

Fortschritt entsteht durch Quick Wins, klare Wertbeiträge und kontinuierliches Lernen – nicht durch das Warten auf perfekte Prozesse oder vollständige Tech-Readiness.

Ich freue mich darauf, diese Diskussion weiterzuführen und in den kommenden Sessions noch tiefer in praktische Use Cases einzusteigen.

💡 One thing has become clear in every legal automation project I’ve seen: AI needs a reliable foundation to deliver trustworthy results. 

In other words, the model isn’t the problem; the information you feed it is. 

In legal work, AI doesn’t need more creativity. It needs context, structure, and domain-specific knowledge it can rely on. Without that, even the best model will guess, drift, or hallucinate.

There’s a pattern I see again and again: raw AI power impresses people, leading them to imagine agentic workflows as a system that “figures things out” on its own.
 
But in legal operations, unpredictability is the one thing you cannot afford. ⚠️
AI without structure introduces more risk than value. That’s why we've designed AI agents in e! very differently.

To use AI responsibly, companies need clear boundaries around how data is collected, processed, and accessed. 

This includes:
• Choosing platforms that support private or isolated deployments. so data stays within your infrastructure, not a provider’s shared environment.

• Controlling which data sources AI can access, ensuring the system operates only within authorized, well-governed information sets.

• Using secure, organization-managed models or knowledge bases, giving teams ownership over the data, logic, and compliance posture.

• Enforcing access controls and auditability, making it clear who accessed what, and when.

When data security is in place, AI can enhance efficiency, decision quality, and operational resilience. When it isn’t, the risks overshadow the benefits.

✅ The organizations that get this right are the ones treating security as the core framework around AI.

Als die Fallzahlen immer weiter stiegen, stand die SRUV vor einer echten Herausforderung: 
Endlose manuelle Prüfungen, ständiges Gegenchecken von Angaben und ein Prozess, der einfach nicht mehr skalierbar war.
Mit dem Einsatz von e! by Lexemo konnten sie das Blatt komplett wenden. 
 
Gemeinsam haben wir KI-gestützte Legal Bots aufgebaut, die 
➖ sowohl die Beschwerde 
➖als auch die Stellungnahme lesen, 
➖erkennen, was unstrittig oder strittig ist, 
➖und den Fall in Sekunden einer Kategorie zuordnen 
➖inklusive klarer, nachvollziehbarer Begründung.

Heute laufen bei SRUV über 400 Automationen. 
Die Bearbeitungszeit pro Fall ist von 7 Minuten auf 1 Minute gesunken. 
Der Mensch bleibt genau dort eingebunden, wo Empathie und Bewertung wichtig sind.

In fast‑growing organisations, I keep seeing the same dynamic: performance plateaus not because teams lack expertise, but because processes can’t keep up with the speed of the business. 

Growth exposes every gap, especially where information needs to move quickly and consistently across systems. 

🧠 That’s where thoughtful automation makes the difference. 
When tools integrate seamlessly into existing workflows, you don’t disrupt what works. You amplify it. You give teams the ability to handle higher volumes, reduce manual friction, and maintain reliable compliance standards even as complexity rises. ⬆️ 

And this is why I keep advocating for automation frameworks that don’t sit on top of existing systems, but work with them. 

When your tooling supports the flow instead of interrupting it, teams gain clarity instead of new checklists and complexity becomes manageable: 

🔹 Integrations become part of the natural process, not another project  
🔹 Documentation emerges automatically as work progresses  
🔹 Risks drop because decisions follow consistent, transparent steps  
🔹 Operational risk reduces through structured, governed flows 
 🔹 Organisations get to scale up without chaos 

I’ve seen this recently in our collaboration with enmacc where automation wasn’t a side project, but a natural extension of their operational strategy. 

The real advantage isn’t the automation itself. It’s the way it integrates, strengthens governance, and enables teams to move faster with confidence. 

🦾 AI should strengthen governance, not undermine it.

One of the biggest mistakes I see law firms make with automation is trying to do too much, too fast.

They start with a grand vision: end-to-end automation, custom models, complex integrations.
⚠️  And then… nothing moves.

What actually works is the opposite.
Start small❗  Start clearly❗ Start where the impact is obvious❗

With e!, we ask the teams to begin with:
- a simple workflow
- an out-of-the-box AI model
- a clearly scoped task

Once that first use case runs reliably, confidence grows. So does internal buy-in.

💹  And suddenly, scaling isn’t scary anymore.
