I have over 20 years of experience in safety and security, acquired from serving in the British Army, Norfolk Constabulary and working in Secure Mental Health and Private Security, where I held licences in Security Guarding, Door Supervision and Close Protection. Transitioning from Physical Security, I am now at Byte Computing Ltd, a Managed Service Provider for IT services and products. I am passionate about helping clients with their IT needs, from installing and configuring hardware and software, to creating and maintaining user accounts, performing preventive maintenance, responding to security incidents, software/hardware faults, Web design and Social Media Management. I am currently learning about Web development to enhance my IT skills. I have a strong background in training and content creation. I am actively delivering First Aid at Work (FAaW/EFAW) courses as a freelance trainer and have authored, co-authored and published multiple online courses for PhaiSec, in Mental Health, Cyber Security and Hostile Environment Awareness including other courses. I am currently working on Terrorism Awareness and Cyber Terrorism online courses, expected to be completed mid 2024. I enjoy sharing my experience and skills with others to improve their safety, skills and knowledge.
