- Worked as a Mechanical Site Engineer at the Omdurman Water Supply & Optimization Project (Sudan);
- Managed a team of eight labourers and responsible for the planning, supervision and installation of all chemical dosing equipment including several kilometres of dosing pipes 
- Responsible for construction completion and commissioning documentation
- Actively assisted the M&E Project Manager of a new reverse osmosis desalination plant in Algeria worth $115m as a Project Engineer with responsibility for engineering contracts, acquiring quotes and solving design issues with regular trips to Algeria and other countries to meet clients and suppliers
- Spent three months in USA specializing on reverse osmosis desalination plant technology and design, including four weeks on-site work at various constructions sites in California, Florida and Texas
- Undergone nine months fast-track graduate engineering training with Biwater Treatment Ltd. 
- Initialed and lead a tender for a new sewage treatment plant outside Tripoli (Libya)
- Took actively part in the commercial tender submission in Algiers, Algeria
- Initially spent two months in commercial department at head office; responsible for the French commercial tender documents for two Algerian seawater desalination plants with total investment cost of $700m.

- Industrial research project for the University of Surrey MEng Dissertation
- Extensive background research on conventional and new methods for the intake and pre-treatment of seawater for desalination plants
- Actively assisted in the project management of new bids to acquire supplier quotes and complete a comprehensive cost comparison
- Actively took part in meetings and the decision making of the design of the new desalination plants.

Project / Graduate Engineer

- Solved technical queries for operators and various customer from around the World as well as internal Airbus queries
- High responsibility for the accuracy and quality of answers produced within tight deadlines
- Learnt how to be customer minded and communicate with customers over email and phone
- Frequently involved in team work and delegated work for teams within Airbus and supporting companies around the World 
- Took actively part in engineering meetings as well as investigations and presented the outcomes.
