Raised in a motivating household in Charlotte, NC, my mother and father taught me to help others in life will be rewarding in more ways than one. Tragically losing my mother at the age of 13, presented unpreparedness for my family. My father, a blue collared worker, gave his all to the best of his knowledge. As I became an adult I looked back and noticed what was out of place financially, which created more difficultly for my single parented father. Life insurance, college savings, a retirement plan, nor the dream of financial security did not exist. As a result, my life experiences created an appetite for financial literacy and helping others. After many years working in the corporate America financial services arena, I earned the Chartered Retirement Planning Counselor (CRPC®) designation. This particular designation gives me the opportunity to help clients achieve financial success by focusing on key areas of their life. I specialize in comprehensive financial planning for individuals, families, as well as retirement plans for small businesses. Understanding my childhood and early adulthood challenges, I am able to guide them to be better prepared for the expected and unexpected life events. My belief is conversations regarding retirement should be had early in life, which enables me to customize a plan for clients that coincides with their unique situation.
