Lots of exciting news in the obesity management space. Bariatric surgeries have been around for decades, but require long recovery periods. Then came GLP-1 drugs, a much more convenient but expensive intervention. 

Now, a new study published on JAMA shows that ESG Stomach Tightening, the non-surgical, outpatient procedure pioneered by my cofounder Christopher C. Thompson, MD MSc FASGE FACG AGAF, is 3.8x more cost-effective than GLP-1s while achieving more weight loss.
