Streamlined the existing Employee Injury reporting program, maintain and execute Incident Investigation and Root causes Analysis reporting. Created and implemented a Job Safety Analysis program for the site, and site material for EHS related yearly employee e-training.

A qualified trainer and lead facilitator of the Site Contractor Safety orientation program. Tasked with ensuring all site visitors and contractors remained in full compliance with site expectations in regards to antibiotic production, storage and exposure areas, as well as safeguarding and working with Merck personnel whenever projects or contractors were performing tasks within these sensitive areas.	

Initiated a fully functioning site Ladder Inspection and Accountability Program, as well as secured Certified Training for our Day Porters and Carpenter to maintain yearly inspections. Developed a streamlined WO/NM scheduling process, creating an interactive Employee Engagement Board for training and utilization of LEAN/CQI training and usage. Active Member of the Innovation Council as the EHS Area Champion and lead member of the JSA Committee for the NE Merck account campuses. As the Assistant Facility manager, involved with all projects that exceeded $50,000.00 in setting up job walks.

I have implemented consistent practices in cleaning services at the GWV & GSWB campuses, reduced total turn times for cases by utilizing LEAN principles in task assignments across three shifts. Streamlined current cleaning and documentation practices for surgical, pre and post-operative areas, as well as initiated cross-training measures for all staff to be competent, is a terminal cleaning practice. Absorbed the PACU, surgery waiting room, and CSR locations and FTE’s associated with them and implemented cross-training of staff in all new areas, as well as the OR proper. Created detailed shift paperwork and cleaning logs to begin a benchmark and data collection system for both campuses.

I have introduced a more interactive and consistent process to include direct reports in new policy and procedural changes. Developed and implemented a cross-training program to ensure opportunities for staff growth, teamwork building through appreciation of coworker workload, and first-person learning. Assumed the responsibility for and streamlined the process for EVS monthly billing for the applicable GMC Danville buildings.

As a Team Leader, I have performed daily sweeps of assigned work areas to ensure quality control and consistent service standards are in place for over 30 locations on campus. Assisted the Supervisor with inventory par system, billing, supply order, and delivery as well as inspections of work areas. Filled in for technicians and the Supervisor when needed; maintained a 50% active work shift in support of staff daily activities. Identified, organized, and performed various special projects as required.

As a Branch Operations Manager, I have reduced overall branch operational costs through unique and efficient management of staff and resources. Maintained an employee turnover rate at or below 20%, new, and continued development of key accounts through consistent client servicing practices. Actively bid, secured, and managed 30 projects through 2014 & 2015 with gross revenue of over ~600K. Initiated a peer-based accountability program to ensure employees adhere to company policy and execution of core values with minimal supervision and by utilizing Best Practices. Management practices resulted in the lowest percentage of 2014 & 2015 injuries and incidents by the office.

I have streamlined procedures for resource accountability across multiple projects and varying timeframes. I was responsible for the application of alternative methods to improve timecard and payroll processing times. Time and material sheet processing methods improved to expedite invoice submittal times, generation, and use of productivity tracking spreadsheets for non-billable hours to identify and reduce waste. The rental supplier network developed to reduce mobilization/demobilization costs for inter-office resources.

Close interaction with local state officials, media, and USCG/BP representatives during daily response activities.
