Consultative clinical and business/sales representative to acute care hospital teams across Arizona, New Mexico, and El Paso, TX. I identify opportunities to partner with hospitals to improve quality of healthcare, patient outcomes, and hospital health economics outcomes through strategic nutrition interventions. Educate key decision makers within hospitals about improving nutrition delivery and quality as a critical piece of patient care, satisfaction, and healthcare quality metrics. I work alongside nutrition champions to identify areas of care where nutrition is not delivered effectively, timely, or consistently, and partner with them to establish plans of action that can deliver improvements to the caliber of care, as well as how to optimize hospital nutrition spend and realize hospital savings. The areas within the acute care space I've found to be most effective at improving standard of care are: ICU nutrition support, perioperative nutrition/ERAS nutrition, wound care/WOC, burn/trauma, and malnutrition risk assessment and intervention.
