I do this by educating them on the mental fitness model, which enables them to navigate conflict with a more positive mindset and less stress.  Most attempts at positive change fail because we stop at insight and don’t build habits. I lead my clients through a development process that enables them to sustain change towards a more positive mind by developing the neural pathways to form new habits through consistent daily practice. This process is a game changer as it has an immediate and measurable impact on their own performance as well as that of their team.

I launched my leadership coaching practice for two important reasons. First, I have been using a coach approach with others throughout my entire career. It works. Second, as I have completed more  advanced level certifications in coaching, I have seen the power of coaching transform careers, teams and organizations.

In addition to my deep knowledge of and extensive practice with bodies of work such as Emotional Intelligence, Atomic Habits, Radical Candor, Question Thinking, and Energy Leadership, what my clients say they appreciate most about me is that I give them the push they need to change and grow, but I do it in a supportive way. Hence, my motto "Love The Push." I have helped numerous leaders refine and sharpen their leadership style so that they can help their teams perform at their best and achieve breakthrough results. 

A good coach is a great listener, and I have worked hard to develop that ability. I am not a consultant or advisor, nor do I tell my clients what to do. Through training and experience, I help my clients discover their own solutions, encourage their progress, and help them reset when things go wrong.

My work at Learning Dynamics has four main priorities: coaching leaders of Learning Dynamics clients, consulting on people-focused initiatives, facilitating learning and development classes and workshops, and collaborating with the company’s president to plan and execute business development activities. This leadership role in the organization allows me to leverage my strengths to be a valued internal business partner as well as coach and trainer for our clients.

I value being part of the Learning Dynamics team as we have great programs, great people, and the commitment to continually innovate to meet our clients’ learning and development priorities. Our work fuels our client’s success.

▶ KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS

• COACHING: Coached managers to improve performance. Noted by clients’ executives for empowering people for greater effectiveness that is producing better sales and leadership impacts within organizations.

• TRAINING DEVELOPMENT: Co-developed an 18-month manager training program that was customized for a client to include monthly sessions and content relevant in its specialized industry. Also co-developed Meyers Briggs (MBTI) training as well as advanced customer service training, among other efforts.

• CONSULTING CREATIVITY: Continuing to produce a wide range of customized consulting solutions to drive organizational development. Recent efforts include short and long-term engagements, close collaboration with client principals, and an in-depth understanding of their challenges and priorities.

• L&D FACILITATION: Produced and continuing to set the standard for excellence in training facilitation. Often requested to deliver L&D sessions. Always producing pacesetting participant evaluation scores and outstanding client executive feedback.

Elements Massage®

After thorough research into various business concepts, I chose to invest in and open my Elements Massage business in thriving downtown White Plains, NY. It is entirely a people business, one where I could use my strengths while providing valued services for our clients and meaningful employment for my team of 18. Quickly built a book of more than 500 regular clients.

▶ KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• COACHING: Coached an opening-day employee up through two promotions and to have the confidence, professionalism, and tools to engage with clients and peers more effectively. Also coached and developed other leaders and skilled individual contributors to do more, perform better, and achieve their potential with the organization.

• BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT: Set a system record for the most pre-booked clients prior to grand opening.

• SERVICE & CLIENT LOYALTY: Coached team to provide exemplary service to inspire conversion of 20% of new clients monthly into Wellness Program members. Also achieved an exemplary NPS of 85% or better, at least 15 points higher than company average. Routinely earned positive feedback through online consumer reviews that were superior to the local competition.

• TEAMWORK: Continually trained, coached, and encouraged staff to learn and grow, leading to an environment defined by teamwork and low turnover.

Mary Kay Global

Mary Kay Global is famous for empowering and equipping women to be successful building and leading their own businesses. I used all my experience and energy to recruit, train, coach, and develop people for advancement as independent business owners.

▶ KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• TALENT DEVELOPMENT: Coached and developed 15 people into leadership roles, building on their strengths and motivation to help them achieve success.

• TEAM BUILDING: Recruited over 100 consultants into the organization, and worked tirelessly to train, coach, and inspire each woman to reach their goals.

• TRAINING FACILITATION: Led weekly training sessions with as many as 40 consultants to help them boost their sales and organization growth.

• PERSONAL PERFORMANCE: Awarded two Mary Kay cars for unit sales production of $100K+ and sales force growth of 15-20% annually. Moved quickly from Sales Consultant to Team Leader and Director by building a vibrant, productive team of motivated, independent business owners.

Independent Sales Director

Pfizer

In this position with enterprise-wide impact, I drove key talent strategies and people processes such as performance management, talent management, learning and development, and retention for a global organization of approximately 3,500 employees.

▶ KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• LEADERSHIP COACHING: Coached six department heads on team dynamics issues after conducting an assessment. Efforts helped achieve higher morale and engagement scores. Also coached a new Human Resources VP, who was transitioning from a non-HR role, to develop a plan and achieve success in this new assignment.

• PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Led roll-out and acceptance of new global performance management system, enabling managers’ strategic thinking about employee development. 

• GLOBAL TEAMWORK: Refocused culture from a talent hoarding to a talent sharing one, ultimately enabling improved retention of top talent through new career opportunities that might have previously been blocked.

• COMMUNICATION LEADERSHIP: Identified a negative engagement trend in a finance unit and created a plan to facilitate communication from a 15-person team to the departmental VP. This exercise and follow-up led to improved communication within that team and with external entities.

Served the organization as a management development specialist, inspiring the thinking, planning, and actions of the HR generalist team to move toward a talent management mindset as a crucial tactic to achieve enterprise goals. 

▶ KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT: Implemented a rigorous and fair performance improvement process that delivered intended results. Those performing under their potential improved while poor performers exited. 

• DEVELOPMENT STRATEGY: Linked business goals and employee development activities for the first time for this organization, ultimately contributing to achievement of objectives.

• SUCCESSION PLANNING: Reimagined the succession planning process, evolving from an annual event to an integral, year-round one that became more effective and valued by management.

This role was entirely focused on accelerating the professional growth and development of high potential managers companywide. I was given this responsibility after much success in my previous HR roles during which I led change management efforts and collaborated across the organization to improve employee morale, enhance recruitment of talented candidates, and build leadership bench strength 

▶ KEY ACCOMPLISHMENTS:

• LEADERSHIP COACHING: Built internal coaching capacity that drove 98% retention of participating employees and saved $400K in associated costs. Led the way in championing the program by personally coaching 20 leaders.

• L&D DESIGN: Developed and implemented applied learning activities for a leadership development program that generated $1M in savings and boosted engagement scores.
