With 45 years in the financial services industry and having learned the business from the ground up it is a great business to be in. Starting in 1975 at Household Finance Corporation (HFC) in NY as a Branch Representative I advanced in the corporation thru sales positions as Branch Manager, District Manager, Division Manager supervising all aspects of driving a sales force. I then learned the operations side of the business with management positions as head of mortgage underwriting, processing and centralized collections. The operations experience was critical in learning all aspects of a successful business and how it all worked together. After 20 years at HFC/HSBC, I joined Banc One Financial Services in Indianapolis and ran national sales for the mortgage business. This was a fairly new operation that with wonderful peers we grew into a national mortgage leader. I then continued in sales executive roles with companies such as Conti Mortgage, Wilmington Finance, Aegis Mortgage etc during the sub prime mortgage years. I have always believed in treating all whom I worked with, fairly and honestly and to keep the business professional and fun. Highly motivated people will work more productively when then know they are valued and will be treated fairly in good and bad times. I joined National Loan Exchange in 2007 and now sell for clients, many of the products I learned how to originate over the years in finance.
