I've recently worked on campaign showcase edits for agencies, and aniamted content for global corporate clients, from promos to online advertising.

Freelance Motion Graphic Designer, Video Editor & Creative Director

During my time in Sky Creative I worked on numerous creative briefs.  From stings and idents for online programming through to titles, promos and captions for above the line broadcasting.

I had to animate cartoon elements on top of an edit featuring Konnie Huq.  This had to appeal to teenagers, and gave me licence to have a bit of fun with it!  I was involved from the shoot to final post.

Whilst working on Skyactive (Sky's interactive channel), I was regularly taking in marketing led briefs for ad campaigns for the channel.  This often saw me as a Creative Lead for a job, where I'd initiate a concept, storyboard and present the concept to the client.  When the final treatment was chosen, I'd then be responsible for casting, shooting, editing and post of the final piece for delivery.

One example of brand work would be a recent pitch for an awards ceremony.  Betview is a magazine for the betting trade, and needed a new identity, including logo, stationery, web banners, magazine cover and spread, and eventually an award.   The team I was then in had to produce a number of ideas to present, mine was the chosen one on this occasion, and it was then up to me to develop and create each element, at times with short turnaround times.

Initially employed by BiB within its large start up team to develop it's launch of the UK's first interactive television channel, (namely Open....), my first role being Multimedia Technician working on graphic asset manipulation and research and development of software for scheduled interactive digital services. 
This role also entailed other duties which are often associated with 'start up' ventures, including, assisting external presentations involving A/V setup and providing video content for the new interactive channels and portals.

My main role was to create Audio Visual content for 'Which University', the only multimedia CDROM featuring the UK's university prospectuses.  Each university featured had the option of video content, to help appeal to the viewer.  This would involve taking footage from the client and fulfilling their brief in creating compositions, incorporating clips and graphics to suit.
I was responsible for video and UI content for the UK's first interactive University Prospectus 'Which University'.  Creating video content for each university showcasing their courses on the CDrom.

In two days he will arrive at the most northern tip of Tunisia and be greeted by hundreds of his fans, friends and family.

The two questions anyone is thinking when they meet you for the first time at a business networking event or professional situation are:
1. Do I understand what you do?
2. Will you be able to add value to my business and make me care ?  Or to put it bluntly, what’s in it for me?

We’re all inquisitive as humans. But as business owners we’re like Merecats riding on the backs of Magpies, scouring the landscape for things that glitter and shine. Things that will entice us with the lure of a better life and more wealth and happiness in our own worlds. 
We’ve all been there. On the end of a tiresome sales pitch, waiting for the other persons mouth to stop moving just long enough to politely make our exit. 
The word ‘empathy’ springs to mind. Should we show more of it and try to see it from the other persons point of view. 
Not if they just won’t bloody shut up and stop talking at us.
