I worked as a paralegal at The Christie Law Firm, LLC, with a primary focus revolving around various legal matters pertaining to DCF administrative law, Juvenile court cases, Probate court proceedings, and Family Law. In this role, I developed individualized service plans, conducted assessments, facilitated specimen collection, monitored clients, and documented their progress and compliance, with a particular focus on addressing criminogenic needs and overcoming barriers.

Additionally, I regularly submitted comprehensive monthly progress reports to the courts, bail commissioners, and probation officers, aiming to enhance compliance and reduce the likelihood of recidivism.

Case Manager - Alternative In the Community

As a Shelter Outreach Case Manager, I advocated for homeless individuals with co-occurring behavioral health concerns, connecting them to vital resources like emergency shelter, housing, mental health services, and necessities. I maintained detailed documentation of medical files, provider reports, and verification documents.

I assisted clients with government assistance applications, particularly Social Security Disability, to improve their access to financial support. Additionally, I provided reliable transportation for shelter, mental health facilities, substance abuse treatment, medical appointments, and interviews.

I advocated for clients' eligibility for supportive housing, collaborating with community agencies, partners, and organizations such as the Northeastern Coordinated Access Network and Connecticut Coalition To End Homelessness. As a dedicated Shelter Outreach Case Manager, my focus was on making a positive impact by providing holistic support, coordinating resources, and empowering homeless individuals with behavioral health concerns to regain stability in their lives. I was dedicated to making a positive impact on the lives of homeless individuals facing behavioral health concerns.

He furthered his education at Manchester Community College, where he obtained an ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate, solidifying his credentials in the legal profession. Demonstrating his passion and determination for a thriving career in law, Paul is currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree in Criminology, along with a minor in psychology, at Central Connecticut State University.
