Responsible for leading the development of a Data Strategy in support of enterprise-wide Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Risk multi-year transformation program and OSFI / FinTRAC regulatory remediation related to Customer Risk Rating, Name-Screening, Transaction Monitoring and Filtering programs.

Defined AML Risk domain scope & structure, standards, critical data elements, and data quality standards integrating input from all business lines, geographies and delivery channels.

Responded with the design and implementation of strategic action plans for addressing Internal Audit findings related to gaps in AML data governance capabilities and controls.

Was responsible for defining, developing and implementing an AML Data Management Framework and associated Standards as committed to the NY Fed to address MRIA. These deliverables were extended to data management components of New York State/ Department of Financial Services (NYDFS) section 504 regulation re: AML Transaction Monitoring and Filtering program - a regulatory compliance assessment due April 15th annually.

Collaborated with Liquidity Risk Management to define and operationalize a data quality management framework for measuring, monitoring and reporting on ~ 300 attributes employed for Basel III
