Highlights of my career include: ✶ Played a pivotal role in elevating and strengthening Bison Transport’s status as a top 5 national trucking company, supporting growth from 700 to 2,250 trucks while developing talented staff and optimizing costs throughout a 17-year tenure. ✶ Implemented a driver “CARE” program, led its rollout to operational staff across Canada, and presented outcomes to leadership. Established CARE champions who delivered training in each terminal and improved the experience of all drivers. ✶ Partnered with stakeholder across North America to maintain efficient goods transportation during major floodings throughout BC, restructuring Bison’s network, adjusting drivers’ pay and customer rates, and working with government to improve crossing times. ✶ Hired 15+ talented staff who all received internal or external promotions, including city supervisors who became managers or directors. ✶ Instituted a driver incentive program which improved driver efficiency by 15% and led to a national initiative with owner-operators.
