Paula Carreirão is a Hospitality Leader who currently works as a PR and Partner Marketing Specialist at Cloudbeds. Paula has been an important voice for the hotel industry for the last 12 years, writing and talking about hospitality and technology in blog posts, podcasts, and webinars. Paula has a flair for public speaking and has been invited to international podcasts and events to talk about hospitality, career, and content marketing. A mix of sunny Rio, cold Sweden, and windy Floripa. I’m a multipotentialite, which means I’ve changed my career path a few times! I got my Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and just after my graduation party, I jumped on a plane to Sweden. Being from Rio de Janeiro, I guess you can imagine how different everything was for me! Back from Sweden, the hospitality industry welcomed me. I worked in hotels for 7 years, from being a front desk agent to a hotel manager. In 2018, I joined a hotel tech startup, and what an unbelievable ride! Got my first full-time job as Content Creator and started with a big challenge: to help the company to become international. And so I did. Since then, I’ve been taking a deep dive into International Content Marketing. I’m fascinated by everything content-related. Starting from zero, now over 65% of the company's website traffic is international. Very proud of that, I must confess. I planned, coordinated, and host the award-winning podcast Hotel Cast -#2 Hospitality Podcast by the International Hospitality Institute (I’m also very proud of that!). After 4,5 years, I decided it was time for a new adventure and to fly even higher. I joined the Cloudbeds Marketing team in February 2023 and now work as a PR and Partner Marketing Specialist. I hope to continue adding value to the industry through content.
