I am a Senior Sales Leader with 20+ years experience in the Sports Technology Industry having worked at Catapult Sports, Prozone Sports and Middlesbrough Football Club. Although primarily working within Sales and Account Management, I have also worked within Customer Success, Analysis and Operations. I develop, execute and deliver business growth (as Catapult's regional results will testify). I am adept at growing and leading sales and account management teams with a clear focus on the business goals and targets. This is done through an open relationship with colleagues to ensure trust is felt. Empathy and honesty are essential. I have recruited, led and developed teams to be best in class. Culture is the key. I have a deep rooted passion for developing people by sharing my knowledge and experiences to help others grow. I have been lucky enough to have played a part in building a great culture at more than one organisation...it can't be forced, it has to be organic. At different stages across my career I have led sales across the UK, Europe, Middle East, Africa, India, South America and Central America. Each one brings its different challenges and successes, all equally rewarding. I have found being adaptable (having a "flexible framework") is key, whether this is handling complex tender processes or finding new partners in new territories. I have a range of experiences from leading small teams looking after the amateur sport sector, to larger teams looking after professional sport. Ultimately, sales is about finding a solution.
