Building partnerships with global cellular module manufacturers, eSIM and semiconductor distribution players to bring eSIM & iSIM technology to the mass market. This involved marketing, joint webinars, creating overall sales strategy, working with technical teams to ensure our services just worked first time with all major cellular module vendors, one of the first to bring iSIM to the mass market with SSI/muRata and Kigen and ultimately turning this into sales. 

Direct responsibility for sales in Americas and APAC supporting local teams to grow pipeline, bring on new partners and establish Truphone as the default cellular connectivity choice.

Arkessa was acquired by Wireless Logic Group in December 2020. 

The Arkessa brand continues and remains focussed on LPWA and eSIM technologies via our global manufacturer and distribution partner network.

Head of Embedded Solutions

As the first person to join the newly formed Embedded channel team it was my responsibility to identify, engage and sign agreements with complementary global eSIM, cellular module manufacturers and system integrators to accelerate customer time to market. Scaling these ecosystem partners meant ensuring all business operational processes and target were jointly agreed and aligned. Global Account Management for the strategic channel partners includes - business operations, pricing, pipeline development, presenting at customer seminars and events, technical training of their teams.

In parallel I am responsible for developing a sales pipeline of opportunities and worked closely with the Head of Marketing to ensure the messaging on the "Why Arkessa" value was clear and consistent. 

In addition to originating and manage account development plans with global channel partners I lead global sales efforts for Arkessa's Global Entreprise Connect platform to accelerate eUICC adoption for Tier 1 OEM direct customers.

International Sales Director

Develop and execute on an international go to market strategy around Arkessa's Global Enterprise Connect platform for eUICC/eSIM 
 
Identify and engage complimentary ecosystem partners to adopt Arkessa bootstrap profile

Develop a pipeline and grow sales revenue

Identify new customers and engage them from concept through to production

Business Development Director - eUICC/eSIM

Responsible for developing and implementing market and product focused strategies growing the sales & demand creation revenue through collaboration with the EMEA sales and technical management teams. 

Constantly evaluating industry trends and supplier new product introductions to enable and realize end customer projects

Extensive experience in hiring and managing large teams across EMEA via a regional BDM structure. 

Coordinating Future's presence at major electronics industry events from technical demonstrations to marcom - Embedded World, Light & Building

Engagement with and proactively growing complementary value add partner network to offer the customer a full solution  specifically in the fields of - IoT, Lighting, Security, Industry 4.0, Power and Embedded (TFT displays and image/camera) segments. 

Running pan EMEA technical seminar series and on site tech days for our customers 

Tasked with growing sales and demand creation revenue quarter on quarter.

Vertical Segments Director - EMEA

Future Energy Solutions- A Future Electronics Division

Main responsibilities :

- Identify, engage and grow revenue within the top 10 customers in the Smart Grid/metering, Solar Inverter, Engineering Procurement and Construction (EPC), Energy Harvesting, Electric Vehicle charging markets.

- Use a consultative approach to engage with EMEA metering customers both technically and commercially on next platform designs for their respective next generation “Smart transformation” role out plans

- Regular visits to Tier 1 and Tier 2 metering customers to present latest semiconductor technologies to key engineering and sales decision makers 

- Identifying and engage 3rd party design houses to support customer requirements for key technologies required by the smart meter customer base

- Engaging and signing new suppliers based on customer and market requirements 

- Global Account Manager for a Tier 1 Smart Metering customer which includes strategic guidance to colleagues across all sites and responsibility for quarter on quarter sales growth, regular business reviews with the customer and proposing new semiconductor products to the various engineering managers.
 
- Ensuring the overall margin and return on sales remains above the company average

- Producing regular published articles focusing on current industry technologies and trends

- Remote management of a team of Regional Sales Managers

Sales Director - EMEA

Main responsibilities (in addition to Technical Manager role) :

- Research and execute on vertical market initiatives to expand customer base e.g. metering, renewable energy and Medical.

- Provide leadership and direction to the Future Lighting Solutions team to support all activities with internal sales events, design reviews, commercial incentive programs, hands-on customer technical workshops, presence at industry shows and events with the ultimate goal of growing revenue in high power LED's and custom light fixtures.

- Support and execution of Future’s technical marketing initiatives and co-ordinate the activities of Future’s Advanced Engineering team with Future’s Marcom group to maximize presence in the market place and increase share of mind within existing customers.

Technical Director UK&Ireland

Main responsibilities:

- Set & implement strategies with key suppliers to maximize the value of business generated within UK & Irish markets

- Retain personal knowledge and excellence with regards to latest product and technology offerings.

- Support, set and execute on strategies using the Advanced
Engineering team for new and developing suppliers to ensure that Future's customer base has access to a complete profile of products and services 

- Responsible for the maintenance of supplier programs, creation & management of Design Registrations & Funnel Management tools/activities 

- Provide leadership and direction to the Supplier Development Management Team to support all activities with the franchised lines including internal sales events, design reviews, commercial incentive programs, hands-on customer technical workshops, presence at industry shows and events

Technical Manager UK & Ireland

This was a field based technical role supporting customers with new and exisiting 8&amp;16-bit microcontroller designs. Working closely with manufacturers such as Microchip &amp; Motorola (now Freescale) i aided customers in every aspect of there designs from component selection and debugging application software to introducing new technologies such as Zigbee

Field Applications Engineer

Primary function of the role was to support the UK and German field based applications engineers with customer technical enquiries ranging from cross references and samples to help with application software. This gave the field based guys more time to visit customers

Central Applications Engineer

Over the past 25 years I have led global sales teams and built partnerships with various global resellers, MVNO’s, eSIM and cellular module manufacturers most recently focused on cellular connectivity services (RSP, data plans, platforms, eSIM). 

At OV we exist to integrate with and enable our reseller partners to simplify cellular connectivity by enhancing their existing technical and commercial services.
