This is a national role within Mid Markets MD’s office and particularly the capability and propositions team. The key responsibility to improve the overall banking experience of clients through colleagues, lead progressive change and embed regulatory change. Develop new account planning tools and open delivery to new markets with products and propositions to meet demand and obtain growth. Making it easier for clients to work with the bank through preparing and leading action plans, from client insights, i.e. charterhouse and client 360. Driving the action plans with COO to implement change, driving efficiency to clients and deliver growth objectives of MM. To lead, motivate and coordinate 15 Senior Area Manager’s geographically dispersed across the UK to deliver the operating model, drive ethical and sustainable growth, Helping Britain Prosper.   
Achievements:
•	Delivered new insight into MM, from pilot to 50%+ response rates over 8 qtrs. Developing deeper insight programme. Insight helping drive metrics to upper quartile and held
•	Delivering new service review programme to deliver targeted effective change for clients 
•	Represented ring-fencing for MM, achieving all milestones and influencing programme's future model. Launched business development based on ethical client first approach with real success
•	Key steering and work stream lead for simplification delivering 6 hours per week of capacity for all colleagues activity of 6 hours per week.
•	Supported COO on delivering of change, representing MM and COO in annual planning round 
•	Developing new account planning tools CB wide.
•	Mentor to Lloyds Foundation charity, graduate and scholar assessor, and mentor

Director Client First at Mid Markets Lloyds Banking Group

A leadership role supporting the sustainable growth of the regional ensuring credit and operational risk targets are met. Responsibility coaching and supporting client activities to deliver against client needs leading to meeting income and balance sheet objectives, improving operational efficiency and deepening direct customer relationships.  Being an Ambassador for Lloyds and Commercial banking in the community including LEP and SW Lloyds Ambassador positions. Natural affiliation to coaching and development has led team to high overall delivery. Head Office secondments and work on national and regional projects have resulted in a positive national profile as a leader and coach/mentor.

Achievements:
• Rated as a strong performer for the last three years, and nominated to Future Leaders’ Programme.
• National workstream lead on many projects, including SMED, Portfolio Activity Management, Transactional Banking, Sales through Service and Bank of the Year.
• Assessment Centre interviewer for Lloyds Bank scholarship schemes and graduate placements.  Mentor to two Lloyds Bank scholars as well as two Warwick University undergraduates and a pupil at St Brendan’s.
• Chair of Careers Academy at St Brendan’s, Bristol.

Specialising in asset-based lending, factoring and invoice discounting through direct and intermediary channels.  (Business acquired by CIT Vendor Finance (UK) Limited in January 2007, the role was unchanged).

Leadership role developing finance solutions for customers of Linde Material Handling (UK) Ltd.  New product design/delivery, brand/proposition development, process and performance management, finance negotiations with blue-chip clients, deal structuring. 

Achievements:
• Developed new product, unique to market, generating £25m+ new business volume against £22m target.
• Project managed significant organisational changes and business process improvements required within Linde and Barclays to support this new product and incorporating LEAN and Six Sigma techniques.
• Increased Barclays’ wallet share to 93% of financed sales volume.
• Project managed the development and delivery of insurance product (£1.5m pa fee income).

Business Manager

Barloworld Handling ltd

Wholly-owned in-house finance operation for the world-leading equipment manufacturer.

Project managed the set-up of an internal finance company, including development of a computer delivery system and new working practices in the UK and USA. Development and delivery of the strategic plan, negotiating and structuring large deals, training and supporting sales teams, management of two fleet departments.

Achievements:
• Over-achieved all sales targets, increasing in-house funded deals from 64% to 84% of all assets sold.
• Development and delivery of new products.
