Especially in the IT/OT (information technology / operations technology) worlds as they blend together to form an exciting new reality. Examples include his work on AT&T's Smart Base (Smart City) at Maxwell AFB, supporting the US Air Force's Emerald Warrior exercises, in public safety reducing response times and expenses. He is the current President of the Atlanta Chapter of AFCEA working on thought leadership in the metro Atlanta area. Meetings are focused on Cybersecurity, 5g, Internet of Things, Critical Infrastructure, Homeland Security and helping the corporate sector, academia and the Federal Government lean into the future. As an Advisory Board for the Center for Innovation Commercialization LLC., "CICL", he works with Fortune 500 Companies, global telecoms, integrators, technology consulting firms, in identifying, and introducing specifically targeted very innovative technology solutions that solve problems, extend the capabilities of existing capabilities and help companies enter new markets, generate new revenues and margins. He is an active member of NIST’s Smart City Global City Teams Challenge superclusters (Smart City Energy and Smart City Cybersecurity - cyber security). Here he works to develop and implement solutions for Smart City Management of resources to make life better for all constituencies. In 27 years at AT&T he helped develop some of the first voice command products, micro-payments, and integrated cellular, wi-fi and internet solutions for large corporate customers.
