If you want your business to grow and prosper in the 21st century, it needs to be more than about simply profit. Today's consumers and buyers want to engage with businesses that are making the world a better place and putting people and the planet at an equal level as profit. If you want to move your business or organisation in this direction then I would love to come and speak as one of the leading voices in the UK encouraging and inspiring businesses to be a Force for Good. In 2019 I published a book called Forces for Good based on my own 20 year experiences of developing a business based on these values together with many other examples from other purpose-driven businesses. As a B Corp Ambassador I am passionate about seeing more and more businesses help reverse injustice in the world and reduce and hopefully eliminate their impact on the environment. Twenty-one years ago, I founded Cotswold Fayre, a speciality food wholesaler, from my house in inner-city London whilst I was also engaged in charitable work within that community trying to change lives for better. The company found success quickly and grew rapidly to become the leading wholesaler in the sector and now supplies nearly 2,000 outlets within the UK and beyond from its base in the Thames Valley. The tremendous success of the company is down to creating a great place to work and one that focuses on changing the world for better. Earlier this year we won the prized Thames Valley Business of the Year 2020. Since 2015 Cotswold Fayre has been certified as a B Corporation.
