I am a leader with 14 years of experience consulting to major brands on digital, data, and marketing strategies. I inspire teams to experiment, better understand customers, orient all activities around customer needs, and use leading marketing tools and technologies to measure and improve performance. My recent roles have involved a strong focus on soft skills around communication (stakeholder management, listening, alignment, storytelling, presenting, negotiation) and leadership (giving clear feedback, decision-making, inspiring people around a shared vision, coaching, and supporting). In my early career I was often on the tools, whether it was custom coding solutions, optimising digital channels, manipulating data, or automating operations. As a leader, I find myself regularly sharing this expertise and helping team members to rapidly upskill on various technology platforms. I am often the one people call on to write a complex formula in a spreadsheet or automate a tedious task. As someone who reads widely and deeply values education and constant learning, I also have a strong cross-functional understanding of business models, finance, sales, engineering, product strategy, customer experience, and people and culture. On top of learning myself, I especially enjoy sharing knowledge and have lectured MBA students at both the University of Melbourne and Technical University of Berlin in marketing and technology strategy.
