Experienced in both Groups and Transient Business. I am responsible for the MICE department at a global level, as well as driving sales for the diplomatic and leisure segments for The Carlton Tower Jumeirah & Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel.
My responsibilities include formulating and executing strategies for new market penetration and identifying emerging opportunities to expand our global reach and influence.
Representing the hotel on an International level through a variety of prestigious events and forums, including Tradeshows and Events with the Jumeirah Group along with independent hosted Sales appointments & FAM Trips.

Responsible for proactively driving revenue within the hotel by ensuring the meeting spaces and bedrooms are effectively sold, and working collaboratively with Key Account Managers on both a National and International scale to maximise opportunities, securing business across all market segments.
Strong knowledge of local markets and domestic/international competitors to ensure correct positioning.

MICE Sales Executive

A Hilton’s top Graduate fast track program ( 25 candidates selected from more than 1,000 applicants) which aims to develop operational leaders, by giving the opportunity to immediately start at a supervisory level, taking on the responsibilities, accountability and challenges through all the departments in the hotel. It offers a foundation of development, resources and support for future leaders.
Front Office Department:
- Assisted in leading a team of 15+ people, handling complaints, training the team, assisting with rotas, being W.I.G.representative, conducting Guest Relations Manager, Duty Manager & Night Manager Shifts.
- Attended weekly briefing and operational meetings.

Food and Beverage Department:
- Assisted in leading a team of 20+ · people, running conferences and events for up to 600 people, assisting with rotas & payroll, being W.I.G. representative, training the team, handling complaints.
- With regular visits from elite Premiership Clubs, football, NFL and boxing
teams from around the globe, I was responsible for ensuring the hotel
delivers their specific needs at every point of their stay.
A complex exposure in the Commercial Department:
- Optimize sales of Optimize sales of group rooms and event spaces, revenue maximization, internal and supplier coordination, prospecting, negotiating and contracting.
- Communicating clients’ requirements both verbally and written via Delphi BEOS to all departments within the hotel.
- Receiving and converting incoming enquiries to achieve overall targets and drive revenue.

Key Responsibilities and Achievements:
- Performing End of Day report and procedures.
- Ensuring all cash, charge, float and till procedures are carried out in accordance with company policy.
- Daily beverage requisition to control movement of alcoholic beverages from storeroom to bar.
- Generally being alert for opportunities to improve the profitability of the department i.e. through controlling wastage and being responsible for the economy of all utilities and resources and up‑selling or link sales.
- Regularly review all contractors and suppliers and make recommendations to improve service and cost for the business.
- Regular meetings with supervisors and the Restaurant Manager.
