NHS North West London

NHS North West London (legally known as NHS North West London Integrated Care Board, ICB) is responsible for contracting healthcare services locally and the oversight of the local NHS budget. It has extensive role in primary, secondary and community care, some of which are sole responsibilities, others in a joint or shared function with NHS England.

We cover London boroughs of Brent, Ealing, Harrow, Hammersmith & Fulham, Hillingdon, Hounslow, Westminster, and the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea.
North west London ICS includes ten provider trusts, eight boroughs, eight clinical commissioning groups (CCGs) and 49 Primary Care Networks (PCNs). It covers a population of around 2.2 million residents in north west London.



The ICS brings together organisations, including local authorities, and partners responsible for the delivery and planning of health and care service within our eight boroughs.

As local authorities have responsibility for social care, this acts as a body where the strategic thinking of health and social care can be brought closer together. The two traditional strands should be further co-ordinated in the future.

Dear LinkedIn network,

On 26.03.2024, due to a short circuit in the electrical installation, my brother's family home was engulfed in flames. Unfortunately, nothing could have bee been saved.

 The house was inhabited by a family of 4: my sister-in-law Martyna with her husband - my brother, Krzysztof and their 6-year-old son, and my sister's in-law father Stanisław.

Just before Easter, the family was left homeless in the clothes they were wearing

 Upon returning home, they found firefighters extinguishing their life's work. This is another tragedy that has affected our family in a short period. Three months earlier, my sister's in law mum died of cancer.

A fundraiser is being organized to cover the costs of renovation: sandblasting the house, replacing the entire electrical installation (melted cables), heating, windows (cracked seals and glass), and doors. At this moment, the house is uninhabitable, requiring a complete renovation and the purchase of basic household appliances such as a refrigerator, stove, and furniture. Not a single bed or wardrobe remains. All appliances, clothes, and toys are either soaked or charred.
