TechIE

TechIE is the first ThinkTank at IE University & Business School. 
Our purpose is to develop and sustain a global community of leaders committed to engaging in concrete actions that promote innovation and technology development for a better and more sustainable future.

As part of our 2022-2023 agenda, we have three flagship projects for TechIE:
1; The generation of a Decentralized Autonomous Organization (D.A.O.) for membership and sponsorship coordination.
2; TechIE 2023 Conference
3; Building a VR-based academic/social hub for IE to explore new engagement activities with clubs and the academy. 

My main activities as President of TechIE for Graduate Programs are the following:
- Strategically plan TechIE's yearly and monthly agenda.
- Coordinate communications and key administrative activities within TechIE and IE administrative teams.
- Define and build the internal structure of TechIE as a Think Tank.
- Coordinate innovative digital transformation projects within TechIE.

Developed an MBA Consulting Project focused on digital transformation, AI tools, and sustainability within the Financial Sector:

- Worked in multidisciplinary teams analyzing current global trends and generating AI-driven solutions focused on growth and sustainability within the financial sector. 
- Our presented project was a market intelligence tool that gathers, organizes, and analyzes diverse data to generate up-to-date AI-driven insights for optimizing strategic decisions. 

In the end, there was a contest between five MBA teams, and our team won Best Project Runner-up 🏆

- Tackled B2B commercial strategies and new-clients lead and negotiation, achieving +30 signed contracts with national and international companies.
- Appointed as Brand Ambassador for global software brand Pix4D.
- Appointed Country Representative for México at the International Society of Precision Agriculture.
- Earned 1st Place among 60 international companies in the "eBee Effect" contest organized by Sensefly, the leading fixed-wing drone company worldwide
- Successfully transferred the company to a new capital structure, including the initial employees as new investors and preparing for a future pre-seed investment.
- Initial investors got a 400% ROI in 4.5 years.

Vortice is the leading developer and current leader of the TD2035. This initiative gathers 19 regional strategic industrial sector leaders and the local government of Querétaro, México, and Bajío Region to promote technological development in the region.

My leading roles at Vortice have been:
- Project Lead at Designio, a ThinkTank focused on developing public policy for digital transformation and technological development.
- Co-developed a digital transformation communication guideline project for the elected candidate for Governor of Querétaro in the 2021 elections.
- Organized a fully online Digital Transformation Congress gathering global experts on digital technologies, artificial intelligence, and cyber security.

Last October 2015 I had the honor to present and be one of the 5 judges in the signature platform “Social Impact Challenge” during the Harvard Initiative For Latin American Relations congress.

Entrepreneur & Strategy/Business Development professional with 6+ years of progressive experience managing innovation projects.

Co-founded and incubated AV3 AEROVISUAL, a company specializing in drone-based solutions, aerial inspections, and asset management for construction, renewable energies, telecommunications, mining, and precision agriculture, all with a sustainability focus. I've also embarked on multiple entrepreneurial adventures dealing with arts, video production, digital twins, virtual reality VR, and social impact projects.

I thrive in my own duality being both technical and business oriented but also creative and artistic. I'm passionate about helping organizations become sustainable through values, technology, data, and strategy. I believe in ethics, sustainability, and a growth mindset as the main drivers for reaching individual and collective goals.

Currently studying a Dual Degree MBA + MSc. Business Analytics and Big Data at IE School Of Science and Technology, and exploring opportunities for professional and personal development.
