Media Arts Coordinator and Instructor

• Develop a dynamic and comprehensive curriculum for beginning, intermediate, and advanced levels of all moviemaking and animation courses at EHS.
• Teach principles of animation, animation techniques, cinematography, screenwriting, narrative strategies, sound design, visual effects and compositing, directing, and project management.
• Create software tutorials and camera gear demonstration videos to differentiate instruction. 
• Design, implement, and assess student-led, project-based lessons that engage and challenge students
• Initiate avenues to celebrate the work and achievements of student in the program both inside and outside the community of the school.
• Organize, coordinate, and oversee school field trips that further enrich course curriculums (highlights include trips to Japan, film festivals, and multiple Arts Festivals)
• Design and teach curriculums for multiple 2-week elective Interim Term courses including "Salsa, Bachata and Chacha", "Cryptozoology and Ufology Mockumentary", "Japanese Culture", and "Making the GarageBand"
• Design, develop, and iteratively improve instruction for hybrid classrooms (in-person, remote, and virtual students) during COVID protocols, with both synchronous and asynchronous lesson planning.

Moviemaking and Animation Teacher

• Tech support for instructional technology in the classroom for faculty.
• Help implement rollout of Canvas LMS to faculty and provide ongoing support.
