I've been writing professionally for about 7 years and have been a writer for more than 13 years.

I currently handle socials for B2B brands, write tech blogs (focused on storytelling), and freelance as a content strategist and copywriter.

I'm experienced with content strategy, UX writing, content marketing, social media management, ghostwriting for personal brands, and writing high-converting copy for websites.

On LinkedIn, I write personal anecdotes and thoughts on random topics that interest me. You’ll find posts about marketing, creativity, books, life events, and people I admire and look up to.

I've recently gotten into hosting events for creative professionals as well (in Mumbai)

My last post was about the first round of Road to Wireframed...

(a series of events leading up to Wireframed, Friends of Figma, Mumbai's annual flagship event)

The next one was held at HumanX, a customer experience Design and Tech consulting studio.

It was one of the nicest days with the discussion panel by Shreya Gulati, Krupali Raiyani, Jenil Buria, Deeksha Anand, and Lokesh Khemani (in the picture from left to right).

They talked about storytelling in design - crafting meaning behind every interaction, not just interfaces, and a lot of things! 

Like the culture at Google, how AI has changed things, teams, processes, design vs product perspective, and the famous debate on "creating vs mimicking" among other things.

Siddharth Mehta gave a presentation on navigating burnout as a creative, Nida K. taught how to build a Figma Plugin using AI, and Shreya talked about The Pause that Connects:

"The most important moment in an experience is not the click, it's the pause before it."

I remember specifically being excited to meet Deeksha as she's not just a fellow non-designer, but also a product marketing manager. We didn't get a chance to talk much that day but I'm glad I got to hear her takes in-person ✨ 

The HumanX team was incredibly warm and welcoming.

And during the networking session, people had nothing but great things to say about their experience! It was heartwarming to be on the other side.

Also. there's this one specific thing that was really special for me during this event. But I'm gonna share it in my next post 🤍

In my last post I talked about a special thing during this event. It's about these small chocolate protein bars you can see in the first picture!

They're a home-grown brand called Fond Protein.

It was the first brand I officially closed as our protein partners for this event (Road to Wireframed's second round).

Here's the backstory: I came across this brand *months* ago (in March) at a Clay event in Mumbai. 

I was in a rush and just grabbed 2-3 mini protein bars while leaving vs waiting to eat the appetizers. 

I had to be somewhere by 6 pm and was already running late despite skipping lunch.

As soon as I reached where I was supposed to, I remember eating these and feeling wayy better. They also tasted quite good and so I looked up the packaging and texted them on Instagram (screenshot below).

When we were looking for potential partnerships for Wireframed and other events at Friends of Figma, Mumbai, Fond Protein came to mind. That's how I reached out to Vikrant and got the contact.

I got in touch with Antriksha, shared this backstory and the fact that I've personally tried their product and actually liked it.

She was happy to collaborate with us, and we made it happen!

The guest tote bag that day had all these cool items and a Fond protein bar (chocolate-flavoured) for every attendee.

That's Antriksha in the picture! She got a chance to briefly talk about Fond Protein, get access to a room of potential customers, and she and I had a chat about their origin story too ✨

It was such a full circle moment from randomly coming across their product at an event to partnering with them for one of our own! 🤍
