A 💡📓 🆂🆃🆄🅳🅴🅽🆃 📓🎓 first! There's no way that I could have predicted all the twists and turns of life and I'll keep pushing. One of my first jobs after finishing college was to be an admissions counselor at a small liberal arts school. It was a great opportunity and I truly enjoyed the people and work environment there, but ⛰️✈️🆃🆁🅰🆅🅴🅻✈️🥾 was calling my name! I was accepted as a language & cultural assistant in 🏖️🍷🆂🅿🅰🅸🅽💃🎸. Became roommates with maybe the most eclectic group of individuals ever to cram into a 3-room apartment and spent as much time as possible on the beach and traveling the countryside. The ONLY reason I am not still there now is because I was given the chance to assist the football team at my alma mater. I couldn't pass up the opportunity to again be a part of a program that was so pivotal for me. When opportunities came to continue with graduate education and coaching, I jumped at them. That aspiration took me to Cleveland, OH then San Antonio, TX where I had the honor of working with high caliber leaders who showed me what it meant to be 👌🔥🅴🆇🅲🅴🅻🅻🅴🅽🆃🔥👌 in your craft. Although I realized that coaching football was not in my future, the lessons learned in that short time still resonate with me today and I am eternally grateful. In graduate school, great faculty and mentors helped introduce me to coaching in the classroom. I met students from all over the world and a few convinced me that I should teach in their country instead. It seemed farfetched, but not nearly as much as paying off 🕳️💸🆂🆃🆄🅳🅴🅽🆃 🅻🅾🅰🅽🆂💸🕳️ with my current earnings. I took a job in Saudi Arabia and I've been working to make travel a constant in my life ever since. My current journey has been into 🎮💻🅳🅸🅶🅸🆃🅰🅻💻🎮 spaces. We are in a massive transition and I want people to be knowledgeable and participatory. Just like all of my previous positions, my role is to teach what I'm learning. I had a coach that said "The day you stop learning, you stop living", and I enjoy living. I view life as one big classroom and there's a robust curriculum.
