Current key responsibilities are identifying opportunities to grow business, developing new partnerships and streamlining operations within the media group and it's flagship title - Macau Business - both in print and digital forms;
Managing the group's media and business partnerships, special projects and events. 
Along with project management, oversees the development of the Macau Business magazine's speciality sections. 
Lead management roles in the Macau Business Quality of Life Report, and the development of the Macau Business Awards and iOS iPhone and iPad apps.

Contributing editor to Macau Business, the flagship title of De Ficção Multimedia Projects media group, covering politics, gaming, finance, business, current affairs among other beats. 
Within the group, responsible for creating, developing and deploying special projects towards content diversification and business growth. 
Projected the title to city wide distribution and streamlined operations; identified and developed business and media partnerships including the transition of the Australasian Gaming Expo to G2E Asia by Reed Exhibitions while managing the publishing of the first Retail Banking Guide in Macau.

Macau Business SK Events

Pivotal role in the creation, development and implementation of the Annual Macau Business Charity Golf Tournament, a partnership between publishing group De Ficção Multimedia Projects and Sporting Events company, SK Support owned by MBSK Events. 
The first Corporate Social Responsibility event of its kind in Macau, the event was also the first to bring together all six gaming operators under one roof alongside the local business community. 
In its first four editions the event raised over MOP 2.1 million which was distributed among different charities and social projects in Macau and Asia. The fifth edition held in the fall of 2011, counted 33 playing teams from all corners of the business community, in a two-day-two-course golf outing while 200 patrons supported the Gala Dinner.

DICE Macau

The Delta Inter Chamber Event - DICE - is a quarterly gathering of the international Business Chambers of Commerce operating in Macau, Hong Kong and Mainland China. Macau Business' publishing group was one of the major shareholders in DICE Macau. 
Luis Pereira's roles included general management responsibilities, business development in Macau and Hong Kong, as well as co-ordinating the event production.

Revista Macau

While at Delta Publishing accumulated functions as Special Senior Contributor to the publishing house flagship title, Revista Macau, a quarterly current affairs magazine, providing core content for each edition in business, culture and current affairs. 
Coordinated the edition, liaised with stringers and regular contributors, along with design, printing and distribution.

Business Director to the company's operations from accounting to project and team management. Responsible for the production, distribution and promotion of the publishing house titles in a global market. Played a leading role in the deployment and development of flagship title, Revista Macau, a quarterly current affairs magazine distributed in Macau and then on sale in the Portuguese Speaking Countries in South America, Europe, Africa and Asia.

Hong Kong Standard's Macau contributor to the newspaper's weekly page on Macau, tailor made to an audience avid for information about the then up-and-coming Macau Special Administrative Region. Contributions submitted ranged from politics including the Legislative Assembly campaign, gaming, finance, business, current affairs and culture.

Macau Contributor

Based in Macau for over ten years, Luis is managing director at Asia Gambling Brief (AGB), an intelligence service geared towards the greater Asian gaming community and publisher to Gaming Asia magazine and other consumer titles. Prior to that he was executive director at Macau Business and a correspondent for international titles.

Luis has been covering the gaming industry since before the opening of Sands Macao, back in 2003, and the regional industry developments that followed in the different Asian jurisdictions. 

In his previous career Luis climbed the ropes of the media and publishing industry, having held key positions for a variety of industry roles in both the front line and back office of the Publishing/ Print & Digital Media/ Events industries.
