As the Global Head of Live and Events at The Conduit Holdco Ltd, my role will convene and deliver global events strategy that aligns with The Conduit's mission, values, and unique offerings. My remit is sector agnostic and will collaborate with multiple partners to help deliver global and local event programming, commercial strategy development, awards, brand and Impact partnerships.

Global Head of Live & Events

The New York Times

As the Events Manager, International at The New York Times, my role brings people together through the storytelling of live events, inviting audiences to engage with climate solutions and hear from inspiring environmental leaders.

Team Management:
- Guide and oversee day to day team management and logistics
- Be the go-to for advice in the business for all aspects of event management and administration
- Prepare operational plan for each event before launch to ensure it will be financially viable.

Events Management:
- Budget management 
- Oversee elements of set design in conjunction with creative director and external production company, ensuring design is in accordance with The New York Times brand, and within budget.
- Oversee the audio-visual elements of the event in conjunction with external production company.
- Prepare, monitor and manage the finances for each event, ensuring costs are kept under control and within budget.
- Oversee and manage the smooth execution of each event, to the highest standards and in accordance with The New York Times' reputation for delivering excellence

Events Marketing:
- Work collaboratively with and manage the events marketing team to ensure maximum exposure and sell-out attendances at every event
- Oversee post event- marketing analysis, budget recaps, internal and client feedback and incorporate learning into future planning.

Lead commercial manager on Women and Diversity portfolio and FT NextGen with strong relationship and project management skills. I have an aptitude to see and hold the big picture, yet also manage the details. I am comfortable with ambiguity, evolving priorities and have an eagerness to lean in to support team/projects when needed.

 Experience working with multiple stakeholders, internally and externally capable of building strong relationships with partners
- Identify and build relationships with strategic partners in the US and UK
- Structure, negotiate and execute commercial deals with strategic partners
- Collaborate with content and editorial, legal, and finance to ensure efficient and compliant strategy and deal execution
- Plan, execute and launch new product lines across FT NextGen including NextUp FT Live YouTube Series.
