Peter Bowman started his career in the film business way back in 1998. His introduction to the industry as an Art Department PA and construction assistant whet his appetite for the movie making experience. Peter transitioned to working on set as a playback supervisor working on hundreds of sets from 2000-2014 In 2015 he launched the Playback Department at Sim’s Toronto office. He was responsible for managing his in house staff, as well as a large roster of on set personnel. Providing script breakdowns and budgets gave Peter invaluable insight into the business of film making. This direct contact has allowed him to grow and cultivate a wide expanding industry network. This network and his reputation are directly linked to revenue growth and market expansion of Sim's playback department. Post production was a natural fit and in 2020 Peter became the account executive for Sim Post Toronto. Sim Post services some of the biggest franchises in the world. Peter's passion for filmmaking and a knack to engage clients and foster new relationships has allowed him to tap into new markets and develop new business.
