🚀 Profit Acceleration Specialist | Strategic Coach and Advisor | Innovative Leadership 👊🏻 One of my core values is to make an impact. It is what drove me to coach Little League baseball while still in high school. It drove me to study criminal justice in college, take on leadership roles throughout my career, and go into talent development. It is also why I sought my coaching certification - to have a profound impact. I love to help people achieve big things. I believe that working with business owners, entrepreneurs, and senior leaders creates the largest ripple effects that can have a major impact on our world. That is why I started my own coaching and advising practice. My not-even-close-to-linear career path has helped me develop a variety of skills that uniquely equip me to help others achieve high performance in their businesses and lives. Through my roles in operations, sales, human resources, coaching, and leadership development, I have developed a keen understanding of the complex issues facing leaders and business owners in the type of volatile environments we have today. Over the past decade, I have been blessed with the opportunity to work with Fortune 500 executive leaders as well as business owners running companies from $250k - $100M+ in revenue. I have trained over 4,000 leaders on five continents and helped build and scale an internal coaching program in a large enterprise. I am passionate about the positive impact leaders can have and coaching them to maximize that impact. As a Strategic Advisor to Executives and Entrepreneurs, I specialize in helping you achieve strategic clarity, unlock hidden profits, and drive operational and team excellence. My approach uses my skills in coaching, facilitation, and leadership by integrating strategy, execution, and accountability to help you scale your business with confidence. "We often avoid facing what's important by excelling at what's unimportant." -Mark Manson What are you focusing on that may not be what's most important?
Sometimes, slowing down is the most strategic move you can make. This week, my wife and I were able to spend time in Rincón, Puerto Rico — relaxing, connecting with friends, and immersing ourselves in the rhythm of the island. And something interesting happened… Clarity showed up. New opportunities emerged. And creativity flowed in a way it hasn’t in weeks. I shared a video the other day reflecting on this quote from Mark Manson: “We often avoid facing what’s important by excelling at what’s unimportant.” That one hit hard when I reflected on it. It’s easy to stay busy — to hustle, to grind, to knock out a to-do list that doesn’t move the needle. But this week reminded me: Focus is a choice. And growth often begins when we pause long enough to ask the right questions...and then think and reflect. Am I working on what actually matters? Or am I distracting myself with what’s comfortable? You may not have a trip planned, but make some time to take a step back now and then. The right answers don’t always come from pushing harder. Sometimes, they find you on a quiet beach in Puerto Rico. Special thanks to Mark Curtis and his amazing wife for the invite, the hospitality, your friendship, and the amazing home! (The rum was pretty good, too 🙂 ) 👀 Curious: What’s something you’ve realized only after stepping away from the noise? #Leadership #Mindset #BusinessGrowth #Rincon #Reflection #Focus #Entrepreneurship #Clarity #HighPerformance
Stop Asking These Questions When Hiring a Coach: ❌ “Have you worked in my industry?” ❌ “Have you built a business like mine?” ❌ “How much money have you made?” These sound like smart questions. But they’re actually the wrong ones. Because coaching isn’t about finding someone just like you. It’s about finding someone who can make you better. Here are some questions that actually predict growth: ✅ “What’s your approach to coaching?” ✅ "What kind of training do you have?" ✅ “How do you hold clients accountable?” ✅ “Can you share real transformations you’ve helped create?” ✅ “How do you tailor your coaching to different people?” ✅ “Do you have a coach?” ✅ “How else are YOU still growing as a coach?” A great coach doesn’t need your industry on their résumé. They need the ability to challenge your thinking, unlock your execution, and guide you toward better decisions, habits, and performance. 🧠 Coaching is about helping you raise consciousness and become the kind of person who creates better results—on repeat. Stop asking for a clone. Start asking for a catalyst. 👇 Want to see what that kind of coaching can do? I offer a complimentary Discovery session where we find hidden growth opportunities and create a plan to unlock them. Let’s talk.
He looked exhausted. Frustrated. We were two minutes into our call when he said: “Pete, I don’t need more leads. I need more cash. I’m working harder than ever, and I still feel broke.” That’s more common than you think in home service businesses. Most owners aren’t struggling because they lack hustle — They’re struggling because no one ever taught them where their profit leaks are hiding. I have a tool to help fix that. ✅ It’s called the Profit Simulator ✅ It takes less than 5 minutes ✅ And it shows you exactly where your business is leaking money — and what to do about it He ran it. He found $138K in hidden profits. And now he’s got a path to working fewer hours, with more clarity, more cash, and more control. 👉 Want to try it for yourself? Profit and cash flow are not the same thing. Confusing them is one of the biggest reasons contractors feel broke—even when they’re “profitable.” Here’s the simple breakdown: 🔹 Profit = What’s left after you subtract all your expenses from your revenue. It’s what your P&L (profit and loss statement) shows. 🔹 Cash Flow = The actual movement of money in and out of your bank account. It’s what keeps the lights on, payroll covered, and materials paid for. 🤔 Why You Can Be Profitable but Still Broke: You’re waiting on customer payments, but your bills are due now. You show a big profit, but you spent the cash on equipment, trucks, or paying down debt. You’re growing fast, but you’re using tomorrow’s money to pay for today’s jobs. 💡 Bottom Line: Profit is an accounting concept. Cash flow is a survival concept. You don’t go out of business because of a bad P&L. You go out of business because you run out of cash. 🔧 Pro Tip for Home Service Owners: Always track cash flow weekly, not just profit monthly. That’s how you avoid the surprise of being “profitable” and still wondering why your bank account is empty. Want help understanding where your cash is really going and how to fix it? DM me and let's schedule a cash flow audit.
