Hey there, My name is Pete, Service Desk Analyst. My career path has always been a great test - We would not evolve without this! I started in the Automotive Industry on the tools as an apprentice - working day-in and day-out to gain my qualifications. So after achieving this I had joined a fantastic team in Brisbane to expand my knowledge in the field leading to Diagnostic Tech, Foreman and even Workshop Controller. Continuing on my path of knowledge, I decided to challenge my career path and pursue the 'opposite side of the spanner' and reach into management/corporate opportunities. This lead me to New Zealand starting as a Service advisor for one of the largest vehicle manufacturers in the world, and then as a Store Manager for a very reputable tyre company. Before too long, I had moved on to Account/Wholesale Manager for said tyre company that had amazing first-class training. After a number of years in New Zealand, one of my personal goals was becoming more and more a fleeting dream. I now reside in Australia where I have met (and exceed) my personal goal in only 8 months of returning. During my return, I have brought back an old passion of mine for the Tech Industry. I am still working full time, but now my focus is with IT. Studying to become a Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH)/Pentest or Cyber Security Analyst. I have completed CompTIA A+ and Network+ Certificates and am currently studying for further certifications. I have been lucky enough to join a great team in IT to help me further my skills in the IT Industry and continue to grow. My time, although short, has been explosive with the amount of knowledge and experience I am receiving. I am grateful for every opportunity I receive and even more humbled by everyone I meet. I have decided to take this opportunity (and many more in my future) and give it my all!
