I am a Director at Gleeds Health and Safety with over 30 years experience in the construction industry. My own career as CDM consultant has involved work in a wide variety of projects, ranging from small refurbishments to some of the largest construction projects in the UK (including Chelsea Barracks, Battersea Power Station and 100 Bishopsgate). I have also worked on a number of important listed buildings and have gained valuable experience balancing the requirements of the CDM Regulations with the specialism required for the conservation of historic structures. I am a member of the Royal Institute of British Architects and have many years experience as an architect both in design and in running large scale projects on site. I am also a member of the RIBA's Health and Safety Expert Panel and I sit on the Association of Project Safety’s London Regional Committee and also the APS CDM Client Advisor Group. Qualifications. In addition to being a member of the RIBA, I have a further Master of Arts Degree in Art and Architecture, am an Incorporated Member (2015 compliant) of the Association for Project Safety, and a Technical Member of IOSH.
