Parking solutions are evolving, and Japan is leading the way! The Eco Cycle by 𝐆𝐢𝐤𝐞𝐧 is a fully automated underground bike garage designed to seamlessly integrate into the urban landscape.

Here's how it works:
1️⃣ Cyclist registers contactlessly at the station.
2️⃣ The robot takes the bike underground, onto a platform that moves and rotates to place it in one of 200 storage slots.
3️⃣ In just 13 seconds, your bike is parked safely below the city streets.

With 63 installations across 26 cities in Japan, this innovation promises efficient parking while preserving urban space. Energychains from igus GmbH ensure smooth, reliable operation by protecting critical cables for up to 4.5 million cycles.

Thanks to the development of automatic robots for fruit picking, gardens and fields are seeing a revolution in the way they operate. These robots are designed to increase speed and maintain the quality of the fruit, while reducing variables such as tree height and dimensions.

With the ability to connect to additional sets such as sorting and cold storage, these systems are making the entire process more efficient and cost-effective.

Active Speed Control feed regulation during laser cutting by:
✅ Monitoring the cutting process in real time through sensors in the nozzle.

Innovative 3D-Printed Grippers 🧴 
In automated perfume bottle production, companies often face challenges regarding efficiency, durability, and cost control. With the help of the wear-resistant SLS printing material iglidur i3 from igus GmbH, we’ve developed an innovative solution! 

👉 Previous grippers made of aluminum and POM were either too expensive or lacked durability. By using 3D-printed grippers made of iglidur i3, we achieved a 6x longer service life and reduced costs per gripper by over 90% – from €250 to just €13!

Solution highlights:
 ✔ Reduced downtime thanks to 130,000 operating cycles
 ✔ Flexible adaptation to 40 bottle shapes without high tooling costs
 ✔ Optimized design: No bottle breakage and maximum precision
