Today I hit episode 50 of my podcast that is 98% AI generated. 

First, the stats:
- 787 downloads
- 559 listeners
- 27 countries 

This may seem like small potatoes, but this is 100% organic and takes less than 2 minutes a day of my time. 

Second, what I've learned:
- AIGC is only as good as the source data and the prompts - if either are bad, the output will also be bad
- AI voice generation has come a LONG way. IMO, Google's Notebook LM has the best audio generation, but the least amount of customization or controls 
- There are still some oddities and hallucinations in the audio output, but they are minimal enough not to bother me
- Every tools has it's trade offs. Choose your tools based on what you care about most. In this case, for example, I can live with less controls on host interactions as long as the audio quality feels more natural and promotes easy listening
- There are almost always ways to find work arounds when it comes to automations. Just because there might not be easy API or webhook access, there are usually other ways around set backs and blockers

Ultimately, I'm super happy with how the podcast is progressing. I created it for my own education, but I'm happy to see other people are enjoying it as well. 

TBH, it's kind of weird consuming each episode from the audience/listener perspective, rather than from the host or producer prospective. 

This means that every episode is new to me and other's often listen to the output before I do, which is a little scary, but I trust the system so much that I don't have to check it for quality anymore.

When your automation fails, it’s worse than losing the the time it would have taken to do it manually.

Always have a fallback for your variables or personalization tokens.

An old lesson but still such a common mistake…

In general, most AI users report that using the technology makes them more productive. 

But at the same time, most companies are reporting that AI use isn't moving the needle as they expected. 

Sure, it's cool and shiny... but productivity is totally fragmented.

This is because AI is being used as a personal tool by individuals drafting private emails, polishing code snippets, summarizing personal notes, and so on. 

Basically, companies are buying everyone a digital assistant that individuals use sporadically instead of building it into how teams actually work together. 

That's the diagnosis right there. 
AI use in most organizations is isolated. 

And that's why the efficiency gains are stuck at the individual level. They're not scaling up. 

Those organizations really seeing measurable results are building connected bases for AI powered team collaboration. 

They integrate it into shared docs, shared workflows, knowledge bases, and more.
