Starting with a Twitter account that had 900 followers, I reviewed and relaunched Capco’s social media presence including Facebook, LinkedIn and Instagram. At the end of my tenure Capco had 5,500 Twitter followers, 57,000 LinkedIn followers (from 15,500); and 950 Instagram followers (launched from scratch in 2015) – all channels grown organically. 

Designed and delivered an employee advocacy network that included coaching and mentoring for all levels including board level and CEO. I'm especially proud that my approach inspired and motivated people to participate with confidence and enthusiasm in content and social on behalf of the business.  

Planned, managed, executed social recruitment campaign "Are You Capco". Trebled visits to recruitment page, reduced bounce rate of page from 80% to 15%. Increased hiring engagement by 40%.

I get real satisfaction from delivering results. In my most recent role I launched a content and social media strategy that doubled traffic and conversions to our blog and website. I also created an Ambassador-community where dozens of influencers and micro-influencers drive conversions via social media. To complete the picture I hired a videographer and built a pop-up studio that has generated 1,000s of videos, social media posts, emails, blogs, landing pages and infographics.

Enjoying the vibe at the Google Digital Garage  + Enterprise Nation  workshop this morning. Tons to learn and mountains of inspiration! 🙌💡🤓

Thanks again to the organizers: Google Digital Garage and Enterprise Nation for the business AI workshop last Friday. Came away with a ton of ideas and inspiration for content and copywriting that I'll be putting into practice over the coming weeks. Met some great people too, in every line of business from digital marketing to fashion, retail and jewellery. 

GEN X ALERT!!!

Love the idea of collaborative scrabble. But this extract from the article caught my eye:

"When it comes to competitive gameplay, 35% of Britons think that baby boomers are the most competitive, followed by millennials (31%), with only 29% saying Gen Z is the most competitive generation."

Gen X? Maybe there's some kind of bias at work, but I see so many surveys pitting millenials against boomers, Zders against millenials, and so on. Meanwhile Gen X sits quietly in the corner sipping a gin and tonic while everyone else scraps it out. 

Can't work out whether we're the new silent generation or if we're just too cool for school. What do you reckon?
