Moodle

Moodle is the world’s open-source learning platform, used in every country in the world. With over 100 million users globally, I managed a team in Perth, UK and Belgium to deliver international strategic and project-based marketing communications including event management and activations, digital and content marketing, product marketing, website management, brand development, internal communications and corporate engagement, and stakeholder relations with a global community, clients/users and commercial business partners. 

Achievements:
• continually profitable, well attended and highly rated MoodleMoot events around the world.
• highest level of media and brand exposure with national and international influencers and news outlets.
• increased rating for community and commercial client satisfaction levels for engagement and communications.
• high level of lead generated for Moodle products and Partners through activation and Go To Market activities.

Considered Communications & Hub Marketing are boutique consultancies. As Communications & Marketing Manager, I provided strategic marketing, communications, PR and events management services for the health, government, art, disability and not for profit sectors. Some of the projects I led, or had key involvement in integrated marketing and strategic communications for Leading Age Services Australia, Total Green Recycling, Town of Victoria Park. 

Achievements: 
•	successful media liaison, promotions and attendance for LASA’s first aged care conference. 
•	development of crisis communications plan for Town of Victoria Park.

Communications & Marketing Manager

National Native Title Tribunal

As part of the Federal Court of Australia, the Tribunal is responsible for native title agreements and negotiations. As the only communications personnel, I managed the rebranding, events management and stakeholder re-engagement strategic plans, whilst also providing corporate communications and media/PR advisory services to management team. 

This included events management, digital transformation of the website, EDMs and social media, corporate communications, project and budget management, change communications and stakeholder engagement.

Achievements:
• increased PR and brand awareness for Tribunal during key event milestones and celebrations, positioning organisation as trusted subject experts.  
• successful redevelopment of the Tribunal website project resulting in higher online engagement. 
• well managed reactive and proactive media liaison to achieve fast responses, subject matter expertise and positive news stories. 
• successful relaunch of Reconciliation Action Plan and increased engagement of Indigenous staff with Tribunal and other agencies’ strategic work

Communications & Stakeholder Engagement Adviser

Australian Curriculum, Assessment and Reporting Authority

Under the Rudd Education Revolution, ACARA was tasked with the development of the first Australian Curriculum. Here I provided corporate communications, branding, Ministerial liaison, PR and stakeholder engagement/consultations and events management services.

Achievements:
• managed 32 successful community and national consultations of the Australian Curriculum 
• development and implementation of a stakeholder engagement plan and building of a legacy customer relationship management system
• proactive media management and effective issues/crisis communications with nationwide education journalists 
• successful development and implementation of the first ACARA brand, website and intranet 
• successful media launch management of My School website with Prime Minister Julia Gillard

Communications and Stakeholder Engagement Manager

The Department of Indigenous Affairs

I provided corporate communications, media management and events coordination for the Department. I also managed the communications/marketing and events campaigns for state-wide programs such as the PALS Schools Reconciliation Awards (with naming sponsor BHP Billiton Iron Ore), Caring for Country cultural project, Stolen Wages Inquiry and ENRICH heritage community project. 

Achievements:
• increased PALS sponsorship from BHP Billiton, involvement of schools throughout WA and positive PR; development of first ambassador program with Freo Dockers Troy Cook. 
• successful events management of the State Reconciliation Action Plan, and the Federal Apology to Stolen Generation in WA. 
• increased positive engagement with key stakeholders and regional offices team members.

Public Affairs Coordinator

Oxfam Australia

As the State Events Manager, I managed all aspects of fundraising, administration, marketing, volunteer management and corporate partnership for Oxfam’s social justice campaigns including Walk Against Want, social justice campaigns and stakeholder relations.

Achievements
•	highest level of media exposure for over 10 years 
•	key relationships build to assist with future events management at grass roots levels
•	increased fundraising dollars, sponsorships media by 150% through the Walk against Want event
•	achieved sustainable future for Oxfam’s fundraising events through grass roots community take-over.
