30 yrs general and commercial leadership across a range of markets including Utilities, Digital Marketing, B2B / B2C, IT consulting, telecoms, software, and internet. Managed very large relationships, gaining sigificant experience across many vertical sectors. In 2009 I changed industry taking on digital marketing and technology service leadership roles. This was a fantastic opportunity to get into exciting areas with progressive and creative organisations sharing the benefit of my experience. This combination of digital and traditional business experience has given me an edge in an increasingly digital world. In 2012 I joined Cupid Plc which I later led as CEO. This was an exciting and challenging role balancing the everyday operational activities of running a digital business in 23 markets with overseas development and business operations with the management of city and shareholder demands. In 2015 after successfully selling the businesses in Cupid plc I took the position of COO in a disruptive energy player First Utility, which involved transforming customer service whilst reducing the cost to serve to support their price leadership position and drive customer acquisition. We were successful in rebuilding that business making it award winning for its service and to a point where it was acquired by Royal Dutch shell in March 2018. Most recently I've joined Waypoint Partners a leading advisory and M&A firm, working with companies focussing on growth, realignment and turnaround challenges to help them drive their success and ultimately realise value at the appropriate time. Specialties: Advising small and mid size businesses, running large teams with sizeable customer and revenue / margin responsibilities. Regenerating sales performance and building high performing teams. Cultural transformation. Driving business performance.
