Starting late May 2023 I have been honored by my past employer, Nalco Chemical, to come back and help with process chemical sales to the ammonia industry. Prior to retirement in Oct 2022, I was part of the Marquis XT & Marquis Energy Sales Team helping my company become the premier supplier of USP Grade Ethanol and Contract Blending & Packaging Services for a wide variety of products including personal & industrial cleaning products and specialty chemicals. Marquis Energy operates the world's largest dry mill ethanol plant. We are located in the heart of Illinois with access to the IL River, 2 Class One railways and the USA interstate system. We ship our products globally and have offices throughout. It was tough to leave the terrific sales and research team at DSM Bio-Based Products and Services - maker of Advanced Yeast and Enzymes. From March 2019 to March 1, 2020, I was part of the terrific sales team at Cortrol Process Systems (Tulsa, OK) and Fluid Technology Corporation (Des Moines, IA). Both companies are distributors for NOV Fiberglass Systems FRP pipe, Cross Linked Polyethylene and PE tanks from both Assman and Poly Processing and FRP tanks from LF Manufacturing. The companies supplied lined pumps, specialty valves and many other products designed for extremely corrosive service. Cortrol & FTC also focused efforts on industrial and municipal customers that are challenged by corrosive process and water streams. For 25+ years prior to October 2018, I was a part of the On-Site Nalco Sales and Service Team that works with industrial customers to help them make more profit by improving quality, reducing risks and lowering the manufacturing cost of nitrogen fertilizer (UAN), fuel ethanol, bio-diesel, petroleum fuels and crude natural gas. I am a chemical sales engineer with 42 years of experience providing on-site technical solutions, service and support. I have unique expertise in Urea Ammonium Nitrate (UAN liquid nitrogen fertilizer) corrosion inhibitors and UAN corrosion management. I also have expertise in additives for fuel ethanol and biodiesel - including corrosion inhibitors, anti-oxidants, cold flow improvers and process separation aids. I have published several papers and made presentations at national and international conferences in these areas. I have previous experience with additives for all petroleum fuels and lubricants especially in the areas of premium diesel packages and grease corrosion inhibitors.
