As the Solution Architect for Web Development at ICON Health & Fitness I work on leading-edge products and solutions for our internal departments, clients, and customers. I create solutions that impact our SEO/SERP as well as the ability of our websites to function as expected on all platforms. I also manage a team of developers and implement our content delivery solutions as well as defend the end-user, the user interface, and site experience.

Prioritize projects and tasks using an Agile workflow with the JIRA task management system. Deploy and manage multiple eCommerce stores on a clustered IBM WebSphere Commerce instance. Mentor and train other developers and hold code reviews to ensure code quality. Manage the mobile versions and integration of websites, advise on user interaction and customer flow. Meet with designers regularly to discuss potential UX flaws as well as solutions.

Lead eCommerce, Mobile, and UX Developer

Work with designers and developers to create eCommerce sites using IBM WebSphere Commerce. Some light PHP work as well as DB2 database usage.

Take incoming XML data and use XSLT templates (most of which I had to build) to transform them into legal documents (real estate transactions).

Template Engineer

Cache County School District

Fix, repair, and maintain all of the school districts computer (4000+).  Set up and maintain network infrastructure (running cables and setting up new machines), troubleshoot problems in a Novell network environment.

Having spent over 7 years as a Solution Architect for one of the worlds largest fitness e-commerce retailers I am familiar with a myriad of development strategies, methods, and principles. Experienced in creating a seamless experience cross-browser and dealing with the unique "features" each browser brings to the table when rendering a page.
