I am an IT professional with experience in all areas of the development life cycle covering a wide range of software development tools and methodologies. My most recent projects have mainly centered around AWS services, particularly Lambdas with Typescript/NodeJs, Api Gateway, AWS Lambda as well as S3, OpenSearch(Amazon version of ElasticSearch) and other hosted services. I mostly have worked with data access layers for various SQL and Graph databases with deep involvement in the data design and schema definitions. I have some experience with noSQL/documents stores. I have 5+ years Graph Database experience (AWS Neptune, OrientDb, Neo4j, Tinkergraph) and have a strong interest in this technology, particularly with knowledge/directed graphs. I have primarily used Gremlin and Cypher for traversal/query languages and built access layers in TypeScript, Java, JavaScript and a PoC in Rust. I have considerable and extensive experience using various development languages through all software layers over the last 15+ years and experience in database design and data access. While I am happy to work on my own initiative and capable of pulling a project through by myself, I am also a willing and helpful team member as well as being an experienced team lead.
