Responsible for Paid Media (Meta), Search & Shopping, Display, Video and App. Part of our senior leadership team.

Head of User Acquisition

As (Sr.) Paid Search Lead I oversee and manage the entire Google stack. I took the lead in implementing a new customer acquisition framework for Search and Shopping resulting in a 45% decrease in overall CAC while simultaneously increasing new customer GMV. Other notable achievements include establishing commercial relationships with key-brands to comply on advertising strategies and building out strong connections with media-partners (e.g. Google).

Lead Paid Search

Albert Heijn

Responsible for Search, Shopping, App- and Affiliate-marketing strategy in the Netherlands and Belgium. Implemented a successful PPC strategy, working closely with our agency. The efforts yielded impressive results, including a significant +€13.6MIO increase in annual sales (across e-commerce and in-store sales) and a remarkable 32% improvement in the sales-to-cost ratio (S:C). We proved that Search and Shopping plays a crucial role in driving incremental store traffic for Albert Heijn and optimized our strategy during the pandemic to drive omnichannel objectives. 

Led the integration of Albert Heijn's add-to-basket solution onto popular food blogs in the Netherlands. This strategic move allowed millions of recipe-pageviews to seamlessly convert into purchases, further enhancing the company's market reach and revenue generation. Secured the 2nd place at the prestigious Friends of Search '21 awards and received a nomination for the European Search awards.

Sr. Performance Marketing Manager

Led the tender/RfP process for new agency selection, resulting in partnering with iProspect Dentsu. Developed and executed a successful local search strategy: conducting a store visits incrementality test in collaboration with Google, showcasing the effectiveness of the approach. Provided expert advice and presented our successful new strategy to the wider Ahold Delhaize group, contributing to overall business growth.

Sr. Paid Search Marketeer

Managed and optimized global search engine advertising campaigns on platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, Yandex, and Yahoo Japan, driving KLM's online objectives. Successfully transitioned accounts to a programmatic and automated setup using Search Ads 360, leveraging our data management platform and feed-based advertising solutions. Demonstrated a strong ability to understand and fulfill internal stakeholders' requirements while effectively managing relationships. Notably, achieved record-breaking revenue for KLM.com in 2017.
