I am the founder and managing director of a Munich-based dietary supplement start-up with strengths in online marketing and brand building through social media. 👇 VETAIN was created from a simple problem: For me as a passionate athlete, there was hardly any healthy and good-tasting protein powder of good quality: After a while, whey protein was no longer an option for me: the whey from dubious origins and 500ml of milk a day with which I mixed the powder could simply not be healthy. This was also noticeable by rashes and indisposition. So I switched to vegan protein, which is becoming more and more important in the course of a more conscious lifestyle. But it now contained other dubious ingredients, such as dozens of artificial flavors, sweeteners, colorants and thickeners. The products almost always tasted extremely sandy and/or artificial. This is due to the half-hearted attempt of the manufacturers to also offer a vegan product so that they "have it in their assortment". Another negative factor of the dietary supplement industry is that there are dozens of different products with individual nutrients, all of which must be purchased separately. These are packaged in plastic or aluminum - not a very sustainable way in my opinion... "I can do it better" was my thought one evening in the gym. So in 2019 I started the startup VETAIN together with my friend Luca. Since then we see it as our task to offer high-quality and sustainable food supplements to athletes and people who want to eat healthily. Our first product combines all these aspects and enables the customer to mix a high-quality protein powder individually with superfoods - and thus to combine all the nutrients needed in one product. The best part: - Very high protein - Without unnecessary artificial additives - In organic quality - Plastic & aluminum free - Three mangroves planted per sold unit It is very difficult to combine studying and building a successful start-up at the same time. But VETAIN was an absolute passion from day one and we were obsessed with our idea of selling our sophisticated food products over the Internet. VETAIN is not about reinventing the wheel or going with the next trend.
