Philippe Eiselein, PhD's Linkedin Analytics

Philippe Eiselein is a sustainability expert on a mission to transform the world through social entrepreneurship and a circular economy. He is a senior researcher at the Center for Sustainable Entrepreneurship research at Odisee University of Applied Sciences and a professor of social entrepreneurship and corporate social responsibility at the Business Department of the Vrije Universiteit Brussel. He holds a Ph.D. in Business Economics (commercial engineering), and works on sustainability projects related to cross-sectoral collaborations, social entrepreneurship business models, and competence skills and profiles. His doctoral thesis deals with the "Management of Social Enterprises: scaling up and conflicting objectives." His ongoing investigations have been presented at dozens of international conferences, such as the international association of Business and Society (IABS), the international conference on new business models (NBM), the Academy of Management (AoM), and the annual Social Entrepreneurship conference (ASEC). He has taught entrepreneurship, social entrepreneurship, corporate social responsibility, research methods, and project management for over eight years. He has been invited as a keynote speaker at various international conferences and workshops. He also coordinated Belgium Impact between 2018 and 2021, the national social entrepreneurship platform that was initiated by His Majesty the King of Belgium.
