I am a former history professor looking to make a transition into SaaS sales. Why SaaS? At my core, I am motivated by an enthusiasm for helping people achieve their goals, problem solving, and I have an insatiable curiosity. I gravitated to SaaS and its buyer centric sales approach because the idea of constantly learning about software, clients and their businesses is exciting to me. But the challenge of identifying the needs of a business and helping find the right solution that enables them to achieve their goals is where SaaS becomes genuinely fulfilling.
