I covered markets and investing at Business Insider for three years. There, I wrote one of the most popular financial newsletters in media, published a book, and won overseas fellowships. Then in 2024, I quit my job to launch Opening Bell Daily, an independent financial media outlet committed to demystifying Wall Street with original reporting — at no cost to readers. Around the same time I also founded Journalists Club, a community for members of the media in NYC. I produce in-person events, dinners and workshops for reporters and editors to make friends and get jobs.
