Dear readers, I'm glad you landed here. What’s the purpose of marketing? What’s the purpose of all written marketing assets, i.e., websites, blogs, case studies, ads? The short answer is to touch people so much so that they’ll remember your brand and choose it when the time comes when they need your products/ services. (They might or might not need it the minute they spot you. You can make them want it.) What’s the purpose of a great literary work? Simply or simplistically, to touch people and make them think. Literary writers most likely don’t have as specific a purpose when they start writing. Their works achieve that purpose in a de facto manner. However, that’s what marketing assets and literary work have in common: they should both touch people and make them feel, think, and act. (Hint: ”Download this ebook to accelerate your digital intelligence” won't work.) That’s what I do, and strive to do better every day.
