Hellohelloo! I am Pia, 29 years old, enthusiastic about making an impact in the world - and this is my story! When I was a child, I always wanted to change the world. Growing up, I realized that it is impossible to do it on my own. Instead, I decided to contribute somehow to society. I studied to become a teacher but, unfortunately, I just felt that I would lose time and that I would not learn anything useful at university classes. Thus, I stopped attending lectures and started to travel whenever I could instead. I only got back to Germany for final exams at the end of a semester. Collect Credit Points. Ciao, Germany - Hello, World! All over again. When travelling I wrote down all my thoughts. I came to understand pieces of the puzzle of how our world is structured. I came to understand that it depends a lot on the culture, society and education we grow up in, who we are going to be and what we believe in. It made me sad and angry at the same time to realize how little real learnings we actually experience in school or university. Due to the disappointment in our education system, I refused to work as a traditional teacher in the classic school system. There had to be a better way to make an impact. I heard about blockchain for the first time a few years ago when I was having a conversation with a friend. I was getting curious about it. As such, I decided to deepen my knowledge in the blockchain technology and I was impressed by the potential of this revolutionary technology. I was inspired by the idea of a decentralized world. I thought it would be great if we were able to create an environment where we could interact with each other without any interference from central authorities like governments, banks, and corporate entities. I think what blockchain offers is so much more than just technology. It means global change, it means education, it means critical thinking, and it means personal responsibility. It has the power to create a new era. I always loved to write to express my feelings and opinions, which is why I took a copywriting course to be able to express my feelings and inspirations based on positive psychology to make an impact. I believe that there is nothing more powerful than words and that people will listen if you can tell a story. Let's make this world a better place.
