Raffles Hotels & Resorts

The first international opening of a celebrity chef, Enrico Crippa, who has been holding 3 Michelin Stars since 2013 and whose restaurant in Italy is currently on the 19th place in The World's Best 50 Restaurants list. 
Alba by Enrico Crippa will open its doors, as soon as Fairmont & Raffles Doha (Katara Towers Lusail) welcome their first guests in autumn 2022, in time for the FIFA World Cup 2022. The iconic hospitality project will feature luxury, Fairmont, and first in the country 6-star ultra-luxury, Raffles, brands.

- Managed inventory of over 4,000 operating supplies & equipment, overseeing receiving, counting, inspection, and reporting processes
- Conducted 35+ hours of training sessions for a 10-person team
- Led the snagging process for a restaurant space, compiling a comprehensive list of 300 points to ensure readiness for opening
- Supervised a diverse team of 9 floor staff in daily operations of a 70-seat fine-dining restaurant

Pre-Opening Restaurant Assistant Manager - Michelin-star chef's concept 

Akselos 

- Investigated IFRS 15 accounting guidelines and assisted with the restatement of the financial statements following IFRS 15 revenue recognition standard
- Co-managed an intellectual property project with an external legal counsel identifying existing and potential trademarks, highlighting possible infringements, outlining the steps for trademarks' filing, and assisting in compiling trademark usage guidelines. The project was finalized with a decision to reinforce and register 3 main trademarks of a company and a logo in 31 countries
- Interviewed 6 members of the company’s executive committee and drafted their professional bios presented to investors
- Reviewed & refined marketing claims the sales team is using for promotional material
- Explored the deployment of a new ERP solution and advised on the possible choices (Odoo, NetSuite)
- Investigated the possibility of incorporating a branch office in Abu-Dhabi
- Supported the marketing team in the creation of social media posts

HR Junior Business Partner & Finance Project Manager 

Finance department:
- Conducted an internal financial audit by analyzing all entries for a total of $7M
- Decreased the company's expenses by 1% of the revenue through cost management and analysis of expenses
- Managed and audited employees’ expenses & accounts payable (total of $3M) and coordinated the general group accounting with an external accounting company
- Handled accounts receivable (total of $420’000 invoiced)
- Managed the UK & the US subsidiaries’ accounting on QuickBooks (10 FTEs total), including VAT filing
- Performed as a project manager and a contributor for the monthly, quarterly, and yearly accounting closing of the subsidiaries and the HQ
- Managed monthly & quarterly reporting by creating actuals and measuring financial KPIs 
- Controlled the Employee Stock Ownership Plan (ESOP): operated the Company's Options issuance, oversaw the exercise of board members' and employees' stock options, analyzed tax implications 
- Streamlined the process of commissions payments to sales employees by creating an SOP and facilitating the process 

HR department:
- Coordinated with payroll providers & ensured timely payment of payroll, bonuses, and commissions
- Managed requests from a team of more than 75 people 
- Took care of the general HR administration tasks for Switzerland, the UK, the US, Vietnam, the Netherlands (employee life cycle before-during-after)
- Assisted the HR director in talent acquisition: performed job descriptions' and job advertisements' drafting, CV screening, scheduling interviews
- Did HR screening interviews of candidates for various roles 
- Led recruitment of interns
- Executed the English training plan for the Company’s employees and oversaw the sourcing of the training providers
- Supervised and regularly updated the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
- Managed the Company's Compensation and Benefits file: insurances, pension plans, and other benefits of 5 countries
