I'm 23, and I feel cheated by life.


Throughout my school years, I was told that without good grades, I wouldn't succeed. 

So, I studied hard, passed, and pursued a career in CA. 

Then, I started afresh and landed a job through a referral.

After enduring that for two months, I found another job in an MNC, where I learned a lot in just 1.5 years.

But here's the kicker: 

Despite my degrees and referrals, I was still earning less than beginners having digital skills.

It felt unfair.

Here's why:

> You fail to hook your audience.
> You try to pack in too much value.
> You provide theoretical advice only.

But don't worry! 

Here's how to turn things around: 👇

1) The hook 

Just like no one enters a restaurant without being hooked, your reel needs an enticing beginning. 

Start with:

↳ Asking a question
↳ Stating a shocking statistic
↳ Revealing the outcome
↳ Giving them FOMO 
↳ Pointing out their exact pain points
↳ Utilizing negative hooks


2) Build a Story

Imagine walking into a restaurant to find your seat and meal ready.
Convenient, but boring, right? 

The same goes for your reel. 

Without a story, your main point loses its spark. 

Rehook them by:

↳ Sharing personal experiences
↳ Adding case studies to show real impact


3) Mid-roll Call to Action (CTA)

CTAs at the end are standard, but with short attention spans, remind your audience of the action they need to take every few minutes. 

You can say:

↳ "Save this before I reveal the secret."
↳ "Ready to take your [topic] game to the next level? Hit 'Save'!"


4) Value

Without standing out, everything is a waste. 

Make your main point so valuable that someone would pay for it. 

↳ Add actionable points.

The worst thing you can do with your content is random posting.

I made this same mistake for months.

I was lost on what needed improvement until I realized the importance of strategy.

I learned that to make content work for me, I had to put in the groundwork.

And when a client came to me needing help with their blog, instead of resorting to random posting, I did this 👇

↳ We identified their target audience.
↳ We learned the readers' pain points and brainstormed solutions.
↳ We aligned our objectives with our target audience.
