Manager - Human Resources

Acted as the HR Business Partner of East region encompassing 11 states (West Bengal, Orissa, Bihar, Sikkim and entire North East) with an approximate headcount of 180 employees.

Managed different portfolios such as Talent Acquisition and Retention, Talent Management, Employee Life-Cycle Management and drove Learning and Development initiatives in the region.

Also handled end-to-end Campus Program of Tata Play in Q4 of FY ‘24.

Stint 1: Sales (Jun ‘22 to Sep ‘22) - Mangalore

• Led a team of 1 Distributor, 3 DSRs and 625+ Dealers in the Trade Sales channel
• Helped set up 200+ Binge outlets across Karnataka and 500+ Binge Mobile App downloads through QR code referrals
• Anchored a 24% and 19% rise in the number of activations in July and August respectively as compared to June

Stint 2: Service (Sep ‘22 to Nov ‘22) - Mangalore

• Managed an Installation Service Provider (ISP) end-to-end to focus on smooth customer service, upgrades and upsells
• Brought down NFF % of swapped defective boxes from 17% in Oct ‘22 to 3% in Nov ‘22
• Oversaw a 6x jump in Binge Mobile Upsells in Nov ‘22 over Oct ‘22

Stint 3: New Product Development (Nov ‘22 to Dec ‘22) - Bangalore

• Worked on a Live Project “Improving Engagement on Binge through Personalization”
• Quantitative Analysis: Created and analyzed dashboards on Mixpanel to understand the performance of editorial and personalized rails
• Qualitative Analysis: Conducted a user-survey to understand if the users are able to find personalized content as per their language selection and consumption pattern
• Shared recommendations for new use cases as per user survey, competitor benchmarking and own research

Stint 4: Customer Operations (Jan ‘23 to Feb ‘23) - Bangalore

• Worked on a Live Project to reduce Care Escalations happening at Tata Play
• Identified key escalation SR types and did Root Cause Analysis of 45 cases through Fishbone Diagram
• Shared recommendations to reduce Care Escalations as per the 3 pillars of Process, Automation and Technology

Stint 5: Communications (Feb ‘23 to Mar ‘23) - Mumbai

• Worked on 2 live projects: Email Marketing Strategy and Revamp of Chatbot
• Benchmarked email marketing strategies and suggested a roadmap for next 6 months under the buckets of Education, Awareness, Promotional, Engagement and Upsell
• Evaluated current chatbot experience and defined tonality changes to resonate with the brand image of Tata Play

• Predictive Attrition Modelling: Created and compiled a comprehensive employee database (both current and ex-employees) for last 4 years, designed a Predictive Analytics Model on KNIME to train the model (which achieved an accuracy of 90.1%) as per the historical data, and then finally evaluated flight risk for current employees basis defined parameters like Work History, Education, Learning & Development, Rewards & Recognition, etc.

• Oracle Fusion ERP: Understood the capabilities & features of the Oracle Fusion ERP System being used at Tata Sky Ltd and shared focused recommendations on features that can be leveraged, and areas of improvements basis comprehensive market benchmarking with 10+ organizations.

• Mobile Employee App (HRMS App): Understood the capabilities & features of Tata Sky HRMS App, shared recommended features basis market benchmarking with 20 organizations, and then finally charted a roadmap to drive more usage and engagement through the app for the next two quarters.
